Context
Why this project?
In Sofala, many communities live far from public services and have little access to information about health, rights and opportunities. The successive climate shocks of recent years, from Cyclone Idai to floods and drought, have made families more vulnerable, especially women, adolescents and young people.
The "Together for Community Well-being" project ensures the continuity of high-impact work in different districts of the province, so that communities have access to information, support services and ways to take an active part in their own development.
In 2025, ANANDJIRA resumed the project's activities with the support of the Elma Foundation and Masana wa Afrika, with education, preventive health, economic empowerment and social inclusion activities. We work side by side with communities and partners, building resilience, solidarity and social change.
