As part of its Institutional Development Programme, ANANDJIRA has been investing in training its members in key areas for promoting community well-being and defending human rights.
The training covered topics such as:
- Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) – providing clear, accessible information on prevention, health care and responsible decision-making;
- Human Rights – reinforcing the importance of protecting and upholding the dignity of every individual;
- Early Unions – raising awareness of the social, emotional and health risks of early marriage, especially among adolescents;
- Gender-Based Violence (GBV) – equipping members with tools for prevention, reporting and support for survivors;
- Psychosocial Support – preparing participants to offer humane, skilled support to people in vulnerable situations;
- Community Counselling and Testing – strengthening the network of local services, with a focus on prevention and public health.
Through this initiative, ANANDJIRA aims not only to strengthen the technical and organisational capacity of its members, but also to ensure that communities benefit from quality, inclusive and sustainable services.
This effort is part of the organisation's strategy to establish itself as an agent of social transformation in Sofala Province, broadening the impact of its work in defence of health, equality and the rights of the most vulnerable.
